Daniel Ramos

I have studied military history extensively over the past fifteen years,  with a special interest in WW II, the Korean and Vietnam Wars, and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. My research has taken me beyond the reading rooms of academic libraries to battle sites and museums in the U.S. and abroad. I have worked as a tour guide and staff instructor at the Intrepid Museum in NYC and am currently employed at the National September 11 Memorial and Museum. My book, Fighting for Honor, a compendium of the historical contributions of five ethnic minorities in the military, is a seven-year labor of love, currently being edited for publication.
